Create your own :15 second No Text Zone PSA and it could air on TV! If you are in high school or college, create and submit your video through April 30th. You can make your own, or be part of a team of up to four people.
The video must contain a public service announcement (“PSA”) message addressing one of the following distracted driving topics:
-texting while driving,
-using a navigation (GPS) system
-passenger distraction
-adjusting radio/CD/mp3 player
DO NOT TEXT WHILE DRIVING OR ENGAGE IN ANY ILLEGAL ACTIVITY WHILE MAKING VIDEOS.
FOLLOW ALL LAWS OF THE ROAD.
Mail the complete entry to:
WRGB PSA Contest,
Promotions Department,
1400 Balltown Road,
Niskyauna, NY 12309.
Video entries must be in the form of VHS, DVD, broadcast tape, or Video CD. Electronic video files (ie. .mov, .mpeg, .wma, .avi) will not be accepted.
Between May 6-18th, we`ll ask viewers to vote for their favorite finalist in both the high school and college categories (3 finalists in each category.) The videos with the most votes in each of the two categories will have their PSAs shown on CBS6 all summer!
Please download all proper forms and the Official Contest Rules. Then grab a camera, and create a great promo to help stop distracted driving for good!
